Graduations
Open houses or graduation parties are the perfect way to celebrate your graduating seniors’ completion of high school.
These parties typically take place in the back yard under one of Mid Michigan Tent & Rental Co.'s tents. If you are new to the party planning process, give us a call to help you plan your party.
There are many planning considerations to account for, such as number of guests, tent size, equipment, and the availability of these assets.
We have several different sized graduation packages to help you save money and time while planning this special event.
Call our sales staff to reserve your spot or to help you with any of your planning questions or check our FAQs.
Congratulations to all of the area’s graduating seniors!

PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS AND GUIDELINES
TENT SIZE
When hosting a graduation party it is important to remember that not all of your invited guests will be present at the same time. A good rule to follow, when planning the size of your tent, is to order a tent that will accommodate ½ to ¾ of your invited guests.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
The tent, tables, and chairs are the necessities you need when planning an event of this nature. Remember to also consider recycling or trash containers, food serving areas and equipment, and if you are planning to have a party that lasts into the night, you will need some lighting for the tent.
EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY
The peak graduation party month by far is June. To secure your desired equipment, please remember to book events as soon as possible for this month. Typically, by April all of the equipment has been booked for this peak graduation party time frame. However, more and more people have been avoiding the graduation party “rush” by hosting parties in May and into July. Please contact us to reserve your equipment today.
TENT & EQUIPMENT SET UP PROCESS
Make sure you have someone lined up to be at the house the day of delivery or make sure it is communicated exactly where you would like the tent set up.
Tent staking: All tents are required to be anchored into the ground. It is the homeowner's responsibility to mark all underground utilities, sprinkler lines, septic fields, etc.
Miss Dig must be called prior to the event. We will not install a tent on your property unless the area has been clearly marked for utilities. Schedule Miss Dig by calling (800) 482-7171.
Please remember to be prepared to have your equipment delivered and set up. Any delay in our ability to deliver and set up will result in additional costs.
